Pretty details from Auralia's Christening on the weekend.
We catered the party with gorgeous "A" cookies with rosettes and polka dots; a mix of sandwiches with pretty little signs on toothpicks; garden roses; a personalised banner; and large "A" for backdrop (for hire here).
We are updating our hire stuff soon so will keep you posted.
The scorching 40+ degree temperatures didn't stop me making my way through Melbourne, although it did save my pennies... as shopping in a heat wave is not my idea of fun. I did a quick Hawthorn visit to Maiike store and some lunch at Liar Liar ....(At the Woodsfolk was closed which i was a bit sad about)....I then called it quits and hit our amazing suite at The Prince for an afternoon nap, before catching up with hubby for a walk by the beach and a yummy ice cream...He booked me a relaxation Facial at Aurora Spa and then we wandered up to GoldenFields for a delish asian inspired dinner by talented chef Andrew McConnell.
The next day we had coffee at our long time fave Il Forneio before heading into the city....Hubby off to work and i hit a few stores around the City and found the cutest little caf called Alice Nivens for yet another coffee and cake. After wandering a bit around Flinders and the Lanes, I escaped the heat at the Ian Potter Gallery to check out the Melbourne Now exhibition which was great! I then snuck in my last lunch (alone) at Movida with a yummy cuttlefish, chickpea & mint salad and fresh tomatoes before hitting the airport....short, sweet but a full night sleep and no food prep....priceless!
Chrissy seems like a lifetime ago now that we are already in 2014....however, now that things have settled down a little, here are some pics from our lovely Christmas day filled with Hydrangeas, Hams, Polkadots and food heaven!
The sun came out for Victoria & Andy's gorgeous Waterfront Wedding on Sunday. The Sugarcoated girls both agreed that a little white and a touch of flowers makes the world of difference! We did however incorporate some gorgeous lace umbrellas, bunting and Festoon Lights to create the party atmosphere. The location was idyllic down by the water in the Sutherland Shire watching the boats pass by....We made a floating Wreath for the pool, a lace Arch for the I Do's, a Welcome sign for the guests, set the tables with personalised menus & gorgeous pink & white roses and hydranges + a sprinkling of rose petals on the grass....A few special touches to transform the backyard wedding into a gorgeous White Wonderland.
There is a definite WOW factor when these invitations arrive in the mail. A gorgeous lace envelope reveals the soft white wedding invitation for Abbey & Dean's big day. Fine lace & twine to hold the registry and RSVP cards together with a little tag on the front with each guests' names.
We love the simplicity and intricacy of these invitations and can't wait to reveal more on the big day!
This 'Lace & Twine' suite included:
Invitations personalised for each guest
Gift registry card
Envelope for posting with printed labels and personalised seals
